-
"Brian was born a long time ago, in a city far, far, away...okay, so Edmonton isn't that far away, but it was a long time ago. Brian was saved at a young age when his Dad was transferred to Calgary. Brian's had fun at A.T.P. and Theatre Calgary and Stage West and Live Arts Theatre Alberta and The Rocky Mountain Shakespeare Company and Theatre Junction and The Pleiades (Vertigo) Theatre and he is thrilled to add The Shakespeare Company to the list. Brian has also done Radio Dramas at CBC, and plenty of Film and Television. At present Brian has incorporated JAIGEN Productions and is hoping to produce a situation comedy series you'll be watching on TV...soon."
- Anne Mulders
-
Anne Mulders has been involved with theatre in the Calgary area since 1991 when she was bitten by the acting bug. Her accomplishments include stage plays; one of her favorite characters being that of Ouisa in Six Degrees of Separation. Travelling to many venues in southern Alberta, Anne performed as a Texan lady in a two woman comedy show. Whether working as an extra in movies, acting in short clips, being a grandmother in an Eddies commercial or a quirky, manic depressive guidance counselor in interactive shows, she enjoys them all. Her love of interactive and improv theatre brought her to Slixer Murder Mysteries in 2005.
- Carman Portelli
-
Carman, a teacher by day, has spent many years perfoming in musicals but found a new love in interactive shows a few years ago. Memorable shows include Tony and Tina's Wedding and High School Reunion. Look out, he could be the murderer - or even the guy sitting beside you!
- Danny Sultanov
-
"A self-proclaimed "performer since birth", Danny has been entertaining friends and family since he was a toddler. This inherent passion for drama quickly translated to an interest in the performing arts as a student, allowing Danny to learn the craft of acting and hone his technique by participating in school plays and perform in extra-curricular activities. Using this experience and knowledge, Danny began to evolve as an actor by partaking in numerous film and TV projects, many of which have been the highlights of his professional acting career. Focusing on comedic roles reminiscent of those seen in sketch comedy, with a strength in physical comedy and impersonations, Danny has gained considerable acclaim for the characters he's portrayed in his performances. Highlights include: Co-Writing and Starring as "Ivan the Drill Sergeant" in SportChek's "Motivate a Friend" Campaign, being a finalist on SCTV's "Next Comedy Legend" airing nationwide on CBC and starring as "Dave" in a locally filmed independent film, "Rainbow".
- Denise Vaile
-
Denise has been acting in Calgary for the last four years after taking a twenty five year hiatus and swears she'll never stop acting now. She just returned from the Acting Irish Festival in Winnipeg where she was performing the role of Valerie in "The Weir" with the Liffey Players. Next year it will be held in Chicago. They staged this same show in Calgary last December. Other parts she has played are Alice in "Happy Birthday Dear Alice", Laura in "Walter", Vixen & Maid in "Dracula", and Alice in "Bloody Sunday". Denise has done some background film work as well as several independent films. She works regularly as a standardized patient and loves any improvisational work that comes her way. She has also performed for various Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre Companies.

I was also an active part in the Jimmy Rankin music video filmed in Edmonton. I am currently a member of the “Silverscreen” talent agency out of Calgary."
- Hanan Zarour
-
"Hanan Zarour discovered her natural talent for acting at the age of 11. Taking several acting and playwright classes as a teenager complimented her main extracurricular activity of being the lead in most of the school plays. As an adult, she has played various roles in theater in India and Oman before moving to Canada in 2002 and being introduced to Improv. Hanan enjoys bringing multi-cultural creativity and quick adaptability into her roles with Slixer to add flavor and excitement for the audience. Whatever the role, you'll be sure to sense her quirky sense of humour shining through. Hanan has been a part of Slixer Murder Mysteries since 2004."
