Slixer Entertainment was started in Vancouver in 2000 by owner Chris Hill, whom resides in Kitsilano. Chris regularily peforms with his Vancouver team; whether on the mystery dinner cruises, a performance in Whistler or back to his orginal first Vancouver venue – The Brock House.

What set us apart from our competition in Vancouver are hands on planning of every aspect of your event, not just the actual entertainment or team building. We have local knowledge of venues (see below), sights, locations and of course the local arts and entertainment scene. We take care of venue details, meal selection, custom themes, client-venue liaison, talent coordination and inside information gathering; no detail is left unattended.
We travel to and have talent in other British Columbia locations such as Burnaby, Surrey, Lower Mainland, Victoria, Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, Quadra Island, Kamloops, Kelowna, Hope, Whistler, Salmon Arm, Campbell River, Sooke, Prince George and the interior.

Brock House
Perfectly situated on Jericho Beach, this is a wonderful heritage building with a great view of downtown. Lovely private rooms to choose from, superb staff and many years of working with Slixer Entertainment murder mystery dinners.

Steamworks
At the gate of Gastown, this wonderful venue has a relaxed steakhouse atmosphere. Great private rooms Slixer Entertainment's murder mysteries and improv comedies have been performing in for years - up to 60 guests.
Water St. Café
Located in the heart of Gastown, very uptown and suave, across from the famous Steam Clock and featured in Jennifer Aniston’s “Love Happens”, a real gem to host one of our murder mystery dinners or improv comedies - up to 45 guests.
Ceili’s Irish Pub & Restaurant
Opened in February 2007, offering a warm and energetic atmosphere, lively entertainment and great food to all its patrons! Since opening, Ceili’s prides itself on meeting the needs of each customer (be it 2 or 400 people) and providing them with a valuable and memorable experience.
Surrey Golf Club
Located near the Langley and Surrey border. Surrey Golf club has a very pleasant atmosphere, top notch event team and careful attention to detail which makes it ideal for a larger murder mystery or improv comedy event - up to 150 guests.
Capone’s
Located in trendy Yaletown with a Mediterranean grill and Northwest influence. "The Vault" is a private room that is spacious and equipped with its own fully stocked bar, extensive wine cellar; perfect for a little mystery & intrigue - 15 to 20 guests.
Stanley Park Pavilion
Nestled in the heart of Vancouver’s Crown Jewel in the Rose Garden, this Vancouver landmark has been hosting enchanting receptions since 1911. Distinctive rooms in a breathtaking setting it is the ideal venue for a murder mystery - 25 to 200 guests.
Alibi Room
Situated in historic Gastown, trendy industrial, unique and friendly; great for a little mystery and intrigue - 25 guests downstairs or up to 100 on main floor.
Monk McQueen's
With an excellent False Creek location, Monk’s is one of Vancouver’s premium dining experiences and a sure hit with an added Slixer Entertainment murder mystery or improv comedy - 60+.
William Tell Restaurant
Downtown on Beatty Street; critically acclaimed, warm friendly atmosphere with gorgeous with private rooms ideally suited for some mystery and intrigue - 20 to 70 guests.
Vancouver Cruise
Accent Cruises - Departs from Granville Island. Outstanding, friendly service combined with delicious food. Accent has several classy ships of various capacities.
